- Data Collection:We do not collect, store, or share any personal data, usage statistics, analytics, or device information with external servers. All calculator history, secure storage files, security preferences, and app settings are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to any external servers or third parties.
- No Internet Connection:This app operates completely offline and does not require or use internet connectivity. Calculator - SecureVault does not connect to the internet, send data to remote servers, or communicate with any external services.
- Local Data Storage:Calculator calculations and history remain on your device only. Files you choose to encrypt in secure storage are encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption and stored locally in your device's internal storage. Security settings (passcode, biometric preferences, auto-lock settings) are stored securely on your device using Android's encrypted DataStore. App customization preferences (app name selection) are stored locally on your device.
- Permissions:The app requests Storage Access (to allow you to select files for secure encryption and to decrypt files back to your chosen device locations), Biometric Authentication (to enable fingerprint and face unlock features for secure storage access), and Device Storage Management (to create encrypted storage directories and manage secure file operations). These permissions are used exclusively for the stated functionality and do not involve access to, collection of, or transmission of personal user information to external parties.
- Security Features:All files in secure storage are encrypted with military-grade AES-256-GCM encryption. Encryption keys are stored in Android's hardware-backed Keystore when available. Optional privacy controls (hide from recent apps, screenshot blocking) operate entirely on your device. No encryption keys or file contents ever leave your device.
- Third-party Services:This app does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics tools, advertising networks, or tracking mechanisms. All features operate entirely offline on your device without any internet connectivity.
